Work with BOM versions
*
To work with BOM versions, you must have Advanced BOM Versions management. For more information, see Manage BOMs.
Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager records BOM versions which you can use later for reference or comparisons.
BOM versions cannot be deleted and only the current BOM version is editable.
Use Save as New Version
if you want to manually create a new BOM version.
if you've modified the current BOM version and you want to preserve the original.
if you want to base a new BOM version on an older BOM version.
To view BOM versions,
1. In the BOM Editor, click File > Open By Version. The BOM Configuration dialog opens.
*
With Open By Version, you can choose different BOM versions for each sub-assembly.
In the Version column, select a BOM versions.
