Assign an Access Control List to an attribute
By default, access to a class attribute is set with the Access Control List (ACL) which is assigned to the attribute's class. However, if you need to further restrict access to a particular attribute, specifically create an ACL for the attribute and assign the ACL to the attribute.
To assign ACL to an attribute,
1. In Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Standalone, click Admin on the Workspace Bar.
2. Click Attributes under What do you want to manage? in the left pane. The Attributes Management pane opens.
3. Browse to the required attribute.
4. Right-click the attribute and, on the shortcut menu, click Edit. The Class Definition dialog box opens.
5. In the Class ACL box, select the ACL.
6. Click OK to complete the operation.
*
You can also assign an ACL when you add new attributes. For more information, see Add attributes.
