Add a new group
You can add new groups to the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager database. The new groups can be added either in the Simple Mode or in the Advanced Mode, but are visible only in the Advanced Mode. For more information, see Manage Groups.
To add a new group,
1. In Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Standalone, click Admin, on the Workspace Bar.
2. In the left pane, under What do you want to manage?, click Users and Groups. The User & Group Management page opens.
3. In the left pane, under Users & Groups, click Add New Group. Alternatively, right-click the Groups folder in the workspace and, on the context menu, click Add New Group. The Add New Group dialog box opens.

You can also add a new group to an existing group.
4. In the Group Name box, type the group name. The group name must not exceed 50 characters.
5. Click OK to complete the operation. A new group is now added under Groups in the workspace.
