Packet policy and permissions
Packets are the primary form of data access control used by Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager. The packet rules are:
Data can only be saved to a packet. You can save and move data from one packet to another.
Data can only be removed or edited if it is in a packet. You will need to reserve data to the packet first before you can edit or remove data.
Only the packet owner can modify an item in a packet. Others have read-only access until you either send the packet to another user or group or unreserve various item(s) within the packet.
