Copy a class
In Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager, you can copy an existing class and its attributes.
To copy a class,
1. In Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Standalone, click Admin on the Workspace Bar.
2. In the left pane, under What do you want to manage?, click Attributes and Classes. The Attributes & Classes Management pane opens.
3. Right-click the class and, on the shortcut menu, click Duplicate Class. The Duplicate Class dialog box opens.
4. In the Class Name box, type a name for the duplicate class.
5. In the Available Attributes pane, select the attributes to be copied, and click .
*
To assign a unique ID order and create an index on any attribute, you must create the attribute using the Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server Client. Copying a class with an attribute or creating an attribute using Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Administration does not assign a unique ID order or create an index.
The default attributes that are associated with a class type are copied by default.
You can also copy attributes after copying the class. For more information, see Copy an attribute
6. Click OK to complete the operation. The copied class is now available in the Attributes & Classes Management pane.
