Loading a Subpart
You can load a part file under the active part, as a subpart.
To load a subpart:
1. Press FILE.
2. Pick Subpart in LOAD.
3. Enter the name of the file to be loaded. For details of acceptable filenames, refer to File Organization and Names.
4. Position the reference point of the loaded part relative to the drawing's coordinate system. This can be done in two ways:
a. Indicate the desired location of the part's reference point with the cursor.
b. Or pick ABSOLUTE in FILE.
Creo Elements/Direct Drafting automatically loads the part into the position, relative to the origin, in which it was originally created.
 Creo Elements/Direct Drafting loads the file as a part. The part belongs to the active part and is placed under it in the parts hierarchy. |
