Planting Text Attributes
If required, you can plant an invisible point containing text attributes on the screen. These attributes will be added to any text input when you edit the point at a later date.
To plant an invisible point containing text attributes on the screen:
1. Press TEXT 1.
2. Pick any or all of the text attributes in SET.
3. Pick Line in ENTER and type in two single or double quotation marks. The quotation marks must be separated by at least one blank space.
4. Indicate a point on your drawing.
To add text to this point using EDIT in the same drawing session, or during subsequent drawing sessions:
1. Press POINTS ON in SHOW.
2. Identify the point previously planted.
3. Enter the required text.
The new text will be displayed in the attributes that you selected when you planted the point.
