Using Follow On/Off
The ruler is always located at the origin. The origin always tracks the ruler, and the ruler always tracks the origin. Optionally, you can use the Follow function to move the coordinate system origin with the origin of the ruler.
To make the origin follow the ruler:
1. Pull down the Setup menu.
2. Click Grid and Follow.
The ruler will now automatically move to each new point you create.
