Using the Ruler/Grid
The ruler simulates the T-square traditionally used with manual drafting methods. When used together with the grid point catch mode, the ruler allows you to draw with the help of a grid. If you prefer you can display a dot or line grid.
To draw using the ruler/grid:
1. Press Ruler in RULER/GRID.
2. Press SPACING in RULER/GRID.
SPACING sets the units between each stroke on the ruler or grid.
1. Enter the ruler/grid spacing (for example, 0.5).
2. Press MOVE in RULER/GRID.
3. Identify the start point for the ruler.
4. Begin to draw using the ruler and grid for positional reference.
