Modifying Using Selection
The SELECTION mechanism described in Commonly Used Commands can also be used with all the MODIFY commands/options, (except ISOMETRIC and STRETCH).
Using SELECTION gives you various ways to identify elements to be modified and to see them highlighted on the screen before a modification is made.
To use SELECTION with MODIFY:
1. Press MODIFY.
2. Press Keep or No Keep in MODIFY
3. Identify the elements to be modified using the options available in the SELECTION block.
4. Press CONFIRM
5. Select the appropriate modification option.

If you are using a parts structure in your drawing, the selection of elements to be modified is slightly different; refer to Handling Parts and Assemblies for details.
The GLOBAL option of the selection mechanism (described in Commonly Used Commands ) can be used in conjunction with the STRETCH command.
