Standard Hatch Patterns
This section shows how to set up standard hatch patterns which will be used by all subsequent Enter commands in Hatch.
To set up a standard hatch pattern:
1. Display the Hatch Settings dialog box:
◦ Click Settings in Hatch.
Or:
◦ Pull down the Setup menu. Click Edit Environment and then click Hatch.
2. Press the Standard radio button in the Hatch Settings dialog box to switch to Standard mode.
3. Select the desired option (Iron, Steel, Copper).
The selected standard hatch pattern will become active.
The three standard options are shown below together with the values of offset, distance, angle, color, and linetype used (refer to
Setting Hatch Patterns). All the examples shown are drawn with the following hatch parameters: hatch angle 45, hatch distance 5, and match point 0,0.
