Text Ratio
You can change the width-to-height ratio for all characters in the dimension text you selected. The Creo Elements/Direct Drafting default is 1. A number less than one produces thin characters, a number greater than one produces thick characters.
To change the character ratio:
1. Pick CHG TEXTS from the DIMENSION 3 screen menu.
2. Pick CHG TEXT and select the dimension text component to change.
3. Pick Ratio in OPTIONS.
4. Enter a new width-to-height ratio.
5. Identify the dimension text you want to change.
Creo Elements/Direct Drafting displays the identified dimension text with the new ratio.
This example shows how to:
• Change the postfix text to have a slant of 30 degrees.
• Change all the dimension text to an absolute size of 10 mm.
To make these changes, complete the following procedure:
1. Pick CHG TEXTS from the DIMENSION 3 screen menu.
2. Pick CHG TEXT and Postfix.
3. Pick Slant in OPTIONS, then enter 30.
4. Identify the dimension text to be changed.
5. Pick All in CHG TEXT.
6. Pick Size Abs in OPTIONS, then enter 10.
7. Identify the dimension text to be changed.
