1. Press DIMENSION 1.

2. Pick a datum dimension command (DATUM LONG, DATUM SHRT or DATUM COOR).

3. Pick Vertical.

4. Select MANUAL or AUTO placement.

5. Identify a single dimension point. This becomes the common datum point.

6. Select one or more additional dimensioning points.

7. If MANUAL placement was selected, indicate the desired location for the dimension text(s), using the dimension trace for guidance.

8. To add more dimensions relative to the common datum point, select additional drawing elements.
