Saving Files
If for some reason you are unable to save your drawing in the normal way, you should save it using SAVE. This command translates all the drawing data into input commands and stores them in a file. Note that only the drawing geometry is saved; hatching and dimensions are lost:
1. Press FILE.
2. Pick SAVE.
3. Enter a name for the file.
Creo Elements/Direct Drafting saves the drawing geometry in a file.
If you want to recall the drawing geometry:
1. Press FILE.
2. Pick INPUT.
3. Enter "filename"
Creo Elements/Direct Drafting recalls the drawing geometry.
