To create variations from a master part, you only need the Parametric Design commands located on the PARAMETRIC DESIGN 1 menu (referred to as MENU 1 in this manual).

The main feature of this menu is the parameter value table, which occupies the middle section of the menu. When you load a master part into Creo Elements/Direct Drafting, one or more entries appear in this table. Each entry contains a parameter name and a value. The parameter names correspond to elements in the master part that you can modify. The value entries represent the values that will be assigned to the corresponding drawing elements by the next SOLVE command.

The other features of this menu are the SOLVE block at the bottom of the menu, which generates the variations you specify in the parameter value table, and the SHOW, SAVE, and INPUT functions along the top.
