Creating Viewports
To prepare for the exercises presented in this tutorial, create three viewports similar to the ones shown in the following figure. Proceed as follows:
1. Pull down the Setup menu.
2. Click Viewport and then Create.
3. Click two diagonally opposite corner points for viewport 2. This new viewport should occupy the top left quarter of the Creo Elements/Direct 2D Access drawing area.
4. Use the same procedure to create viewport 3. This new viewport should occupy the top right quarter of the Creo Elements/Direct 2D Access drawing area.
5. Click Fit to fit the entire drawing into viewport 3.
Note that the last viewport you created is the current (active) viewport.
