Stretching a Drawing
Alter the shape of your drawing by stretching it in a certain direction. All the dimensioning, hatching, and finishing information will be modified to fit the new stretched shape.
Following figure shows an example how to use the Stretch command.
Stretching a Drawing
1. Switch off Keep in Modify.
2. Click Stretch in Modify.
3. Specify a reference point on the drawing.
4. Specify a destination point.
5. Select the elements to be stretched. You can select the elements by clicking a single vertex or boxing several (the vertex is moved and the element is stretched accordingly).
You can combine stretching with any of the other modify commands (except Isometric).
