Creating Custom Menus
To create a custom menu:
1. Pull down the Tools menu, click Customize and Customize Layout. Alternatively, press the right mouse button on any existing menu item and click Customize Layout.
2. In the Customize dialog box, click Add.
3. In the Add Toolbar dialog box, specify the following:
Caption Key
The string in this field is the label displayed for the current menu item.
Locked
Locks the menu so it cannot be destroyed.
Unique Name
The Creo Elements/Direct Drafting internal name for this menu item. Note that this name must be unique.
On Right Click
Command, function or macro name to be triggered by pressing the right mouse key on this menu item.
Domain
Name of the message file (if any) where Creo Elements/Direct Drafting will look for your localized version (if any) of this menu item. Each toolbar and toolbar item in the Creo Elements/Direct Drafting user interface is associated with a specific "domain" file. This domain file contains all of the strings associated with your toolbar or toolbar items. These strings include:
Caption
Category
Tooltip
List Items
In the domain file, you can edit (e.g. localize) these strings.
4. Click OK.
5. Drag and drop the menu to any location in the Creo Elements/Direct Drafting user interface
