Choosing Units
After picking the Upper Dim or Lower Dim, simply select the new units for that text.
The units available are:
um
Pick um to change the dimension units to micrometers.
mm
This is the default option. Pick mm to change the dimension units to millimeters.
CM
Pick cm to change the dimension units to centimeters.
Meters
Pick Meters to change the dimension units to meters.
km
Pick km to change the dimension units to kilometers.
Inch
Pick Inch to change the dimension units to inches.
Frct inch (Fractional Inches)
Pick Frct inch to change the dimension units to fractional inches. For example, 1" and 6 1/2".
Ft fr inch (Feet and Fractional Inches)
Pick Ft fr inch to change the dimension units to feet and fractional inches. For example, 1 - 0 and 0 - 6 1/2.
Ft fr in s (Feet and Fractional Inches with Sign)
Pick Ft fr in s to change the dimension units to feet and fractional inches. Creo Elements/Direct Drafting displays the dimension values with feet and inches indicated by a sign. For example, 1' - 0", and 0' - 6 1/2".
Ft fr in t (Feet and Fractional Inches with Text)
Pick Ft fr in t to change the dimension units to feet and fractional inches. Creo Elements/Direct Drafting displays the dimension value with feet and inches indicated by text. For example, 1 FT 0 IN, and 0 FT 6 1/2 IN.
Degree
Pick Degree to change the angle dimension units to degrees.
Radian
Pick Radian to change the angle dimension units to radians.
Dg Min Sec (Degrees Minutes Seconds)
Pick Dg Min Sec to change the angle dimension units to degrees, minutes, and seconds.
None
To switch off dual dimensioning:
1. Pick CHG TEXTS from the DIMENSION 3 screen menu.
2. Pick CHG UNITS and Lower Dim.
3. Pick None in OPTIONS.
4. Identify the dimension text you want to change.
