Terminator Position
By default, the position of terminators with respect to the extension lines is determined automatically. If there is enough room between the dimension's extension lines for the terminators and dimension text, the terminators are placed between the extension lines. Otherwise, terminators are placed outside of the extension lines. The terminator position can also be set manually.
To set the terminator position:
1. Click Line in the Dimension Settings dialog box.
2. In the Position box, select Auto or Inside or Outside.

You cannot change the direction of arrows in Dimension Line Settings dimension lines.
