Viewports are an important tool for viewing your design environment. The viewport environment can be manipulated to allow you to:
• Create, delete, redraw, and change the graphical settings of viewports.
• Change a viewport's color, projection, and direction, change the lighting of parts in a viewport, apply clipping planes to models, and dump a viewport's contents.
• Clear, copy, add, and remove objects to determine what is displayed in the viewport using the Structure Browser.
• Use the Show Properties dialog box to select the display options for 3D geometry, 2D geometry, workplanes, and others.
To open a new viewport:
1. Click 3D Access and then, in the Window group, click the arrow next to New.
