Measure the maximum 3D point
You can measure the maximum 3D point of edges or faces in a given direction. It is possible to select both 2D edges and 3D edges.
To measure a maximum point:
1. Click Analysis and then, in the Measure group, click the arrow next to Point.
2. Click Maximal Point 3D. The Measure Output and Measure Max Point dialog boxes open.
3. Specify the edge or face on which you want to measure the maximum point.
4. Specify a measure direction.
5. Click Calculate.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access calculates the 3D point and displays the measured 3D coordinates in the Measure Output dialog box. It also displays graphical feedback for the location of the calculated point.
