• Objects in the viewport move to the positions defined in the configuration,
• The camera moves to its defined position, and
• The drawlist saved with the configuration is applied.
You can easily control which of these actions is applied by holding a hotkey when you activate the configuration. You can even change what happens when you use a hotkey. See
Configurations overview.
An active configuration is underlined in green, as shown below. (You can change this color. Right-click in the Structure Browser and select Settings.)
To activate a configuration,
You can activate a configuration in four different ways:
• Double-click the configuration in the Structure Browser. The configuration will be activated with its camera and drawlist.
• Press SHIFT and double-click the configuration. Only the parts are moved. The camera and drawlist is not applied.
• Press CTRL and double-click the configuration. Only the camera and drawlist are applied. The parts are not moved in the viewport.
• Right-click the configuration in the Structure Browser, then click Activate Configuration.
To deactivate the configuration,
• Right-click the configuration in the Structure Browser, then click Deactivate.
