Use the Dynamic (or Knobs) Dialog Box
In addition to using the mouse to move the contents of the viewport, you can also use
Dynamic. To display
Dynamic:
1. Click
Dynamic. The
Knobs dialog box opens.
| You may need to use > to add Dynamic to your toolbars. |
Use this dialog box together with the mouse to pan, zoom, and rotate.
The Dynamic (or Knobs) dialog box lets you rotate models:
Relatively | By clicking the icon number (for example, 2) and sliding the slidebar horizontally. |
Absolutely | By clicking the icon directly and entering a value on the user input line. |
Once you have completed rotating the model, remember to click
. If you click
or close the menu, the original position is restored.
The icons do the following:

1, 2 | Horizontal and vertical positioning |
3 | Zooming |
4, 5, 6 | Rotational positioning |
7, 8 | Clipping plane positioning |
9 | Perspective viewing factor |
