Multi-Language Support in Excel Round-Trip
When exporting issues, choice fields and user role fields are exported in the language set by your locale. For example, if your locale is set to German, values for choice fields, such as Priority, Status, and similar options, as well as user role labels, are exported in German, provided that translations are available in Excel. However, this may in some cases affect the possible values of choice fields.
The Round-Trip importer recognizes the German Priority values in the Excel sheet and imports them correctly. However, the importer can only translate the German text found in the Excel sheet if your language is also set to the same language as the export. For an example, see the previous image.
The Excel Round-Trip has a built-in mechanism to detect situations where the export is performed in a language different from the import. The importer shows a warning message in such a situation. To fix this, change the import language to match the export language.
