This workflow action allows you to trigger a new state transition for the subject item from within other:

Triggering a state transition is very similar to Update item properties, but whereas it does not allow to change the status of the subject item and this action requires the item's Status field to be updated.

Optionally you can also define a Condition, when to trigger the state transition. And update More ... field values along with the Status. For example, Assigned to, etc.

The new state transition is triggered after the triggering state transition or workflow event are processed.
