Traceability Report
The
Traceability Report, available under the
Reports tab, functions similarly to general reports but offers additional capabilities for visualizing hierarchical relationships between work items. For more information, refer to the
Traceability Report and
Tracker Views sections.
Resizable Columns in Traceability Reports
In the Traceability Report, column resizing can be enabled by selecting the Pixels checkbox. This setting allows the adjustment of column widths manually. The Percentages checkbox, used for percentage-based resizing in general reports, is not available in the Traceability Report.

The default column resize behavior can be configured system-wide by System Administrators in Application Configuration, under the "query" section. For more information, see Application Configuration and "query".
If the Percentages option was previously enabled in a standard report and then a Traceability Report was opened, the column resize setting is cleared by Codebeamer. The Percentages checkbox is not displayed in the Traceability Report. However, if the standard (simple) report view is opened again, the Percentages checkbox reappears and remains selected, preserving the prior configuration.

Column Width
The following is true when the Pixels checkbox is selected:
• Column widths can be freely adjusted without limitations.
• Different widths can be set for each column at every level of the Traceability Tree View or Hierarchical Table View.
• Modifying the width of a column, for example the Summary column at level 2 will synchronize that width across all corresponding tables, similar to behavior in the Traceability View.
Resized column widths are retained when the Traceability Report is saved. These settings persist and are restored when the report is reloaded.
