Limitations of Item Template
There are some limitations of the item templates that are mentioned as follows:
• Each item template belongs to the single tracker it was created in and cannot be used in another one.
• The maximum number of item templates in a tracker is limited to 1000 that include private and public templates that are independent of the owner.
• The following attributes are not stored in item templates:
◦ Status
◦ Comments and attachments
◦ Spent time
◦ Tags
◦ Reminders
◦ Associations
◦ Downstream references
• Item templates can not be transferred in a project or project deployment export in a ZIP file.
• Item templates can not be inherited with tracker inheritance.
• Item templates can not be copied to stream variants.
