Editing Documents
The following file types can be edited by the Codebeamer Office Edit feature:
• Microsoft Word files (.docx)
• Microsoft Excel files (.xlsx)
• Microsoft Power Point files (.pptx)
Select the Edit via Office from the 
context menu of a Microsoft Office document to work with the Office Edit feature.

If you open the Office Edit feature in Firefox, a dialog box opens prompting you to select an application. Select wscript "C:\Program Files\codebeamer\cboffice_launcher.vbs" "%1" and then select the Remember my choice for cboffice links checkbox.

You can edit the content of the document in MS Office. After you save the document , Microsoft Office uploads the content automatically to Codebeamer. Each save operation creates a new version of the document.
If the document list is reloaded, the version number of the edited document refreshes.
