Creating Items from Templates
Codebeamer allows you to create a new work item based on other existing items. You can save an existing item as a template and then use the same template to create a new item.
Saving an item as a template
1. Click 
for the item that you want to save as a template and then select Save as Item Template. The Save as Item Template page opens.

Using templates for creating new items
1. On the items details page, click

.2. Select the template that you want to use for creating the new item. The create new issue page opens where all the fields including the summary and the description are copied from the selected template.
3. Click Save. The new item is now created.
