Agile Planning
This section covers all aspects of agile planning such as defining releases, breaking releases into sprints, creating new user stories, tasks, tests and so on. This section provides a comprehensive view of the status of your work items or project at a given instance.
Planner
Planner is the primary interface in Codebeamer X that supports all aspects of planning:
Define releases
Break releases into sprints (sub-releases)
Define the work to do:
Create new work items (user stories, tasks, tests ) or update existing items
Move work items from backlogs to concrete releases or sprints and vice-versa
Prioritize work
Assign work to team members
Estimate work using Story Points
The planner can be used with agile and other methodologies. More traditional methodologies like Waterfall or V -model can leverage the quick interactions in Planner to define the release schedule , define and assign work , and so on.
