Switching between Codebeamer X and Codebeamer User Interfaces
You can switch between Codebeamer and Codebeamer X user interfaces using the Preferred user interface (UI) option. Using this option, you can access the same feature from these two user interfaces. For example, the Item Details page can be accessed from both the interfaces.
To switch between the two interfaces from Codebeamer X:
1. Click the User Profile icon and select Profile.
2. Select Preferences and then click Edit.
3. Select one of the following interfaces:
◦ Codebeamer
◦ Codebeamer X
◦ System Default
Codebeamer
If you select Codebeamer as the preferred user interface, all the Review Hub related links open in Codebeamer X. For example, if you open a Document View in Codebeamer and click the Send to review option, the Codebeamer X user interface opens.
All outside links from the Review pages navigate back to the Codebeamer. For example. if you are on on the main Review page and click the Wiki top menu option, the Wiki opens in Codebeamer.
Codebeamer X
If you select Codebeamer X as the preferred user interface, all pages open in Codebeamer X. Pages for features that are not supported in Codebeamer X open in Codebeamer. For example, the System Administration page always opens in the Codebeamer user interface.
System Default
Administrators can set the default preferred user interface (UI) at the system level in the application configuration. If this command is configured, select System default as the Preferred user interface (UI) option.
