Codebeamer X Overview
Codebeamer X is an Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution for distributed development.
Codebeamer X provides management tools for projects, tasks, requirements, tests, changes, configurations, builds, and documents in a single, secure environment. It enables software and hardware development to be more collaborative, transparent, and productive.
Codebeamer X: Common Concepts
Codebeamer X is available in three editions, each addressing one specific problem domain. For a combined solution, you can run Codebeamer X with a combined license and leverage multiple (or all) editions in a single instance.
The three editions are:
• Codebeamer X ALM - For Agile Application Lifecycle Management.
• Codebeamer X ITIL - For Information Technology Infrastructure Library (to manage IT processes).
There is a common subset of concepts and features that are shared by the different editions. These common concepts are discussed in this section.
