Wiki Page Properties
To access the wiki page properties , click More menu. and select Properties. The wiki page properties menu can be used for the following purposes:
Adding comments and attachments
Adding associations
Adding links
Adding child pages
Viewing page history
Viewing document approval
Changing permissions
To modify the properties of a wiki page, click the Edit Properties hyperlink located at the top left of the screen. The following properties can be edited:
Name—The name of the wiki page.
Owner—The owner, or content creator of the wiki page.
Status—The status of the page. This can be chosen from the drop down list.
Description—The page description can be added here. The Description box has the following options at the bottom:
Help—Click to launch the help in a new window.
Choose format of the text—Click to select the format of the text by selecting either the Wiki or the Plain option. Selecting Wiki enables the formatting toolbar that can be used to format the text entered in the Description box. For more information on formatting toolbar, see Editing in the Wiki The formatting options remain disabled if you have selected the Plain option.
Toggle Overlay—Click to open the Description box in a new separate window named Text Editor. You can add, edit, and format the text in this window as required.
Lock—Select the check box to lock the page and prevent other users from making changes .
Max. Versions—The maximum number of versions stored and displayed in the History tab. This value can be set in the Max versions drop-down list on the Wiki tab. If you change the Max. Versions value from All to another value, the versions excluded by the change are permanently deleted from the database.
Commenting Pages and Attaching Files
Add questions, answers, or notes as comments attached to any page by clicking Add Comment under Comments & Attachments tab.
The wiki editor window allows users to add comments and also to browse for documents to attach.
These attachments are used for sharing content with other users and to include it in the user’s wiki page. For example, to display inline images.
Click the to save your comments and uploaded files.
Associations
Associations are used to list and add related artifacts such as wiki pages, tasks, bugs, and functions.
Incoming Links
The Incoming Links tab lists artifacts that refer to the current wiki page.
Outgoing Links
The Outgoing Links tab lists artifacts to which the current page contains references.
Child Pages
Child pages can be organized into a tree hierarchy . When a project is created, only the root of the page tree exists, and it grows as new pages are created.
When you are editing a wiki page and a new child page is to be created, the simplest way to add a child page is to add the name of the child page between square brackets.

After saving the modifications, a link appears on the wiki page pointing to the not-yet-existing child wiki page. Click the link to open the wiki editor window for the new child page to add content to the page.
The wiki page number is assigned once the new child page has content, and the page is visible on the Children tab.
The child pages of a document are displayed on the Children tab under Properties.
Notifications
Users can subscribe to individual wiki pages to keep track of the changes made by selecting Notificationsunder Properties.
Notify on Read—A notification email is sent each time the related page is read by any user.
Notify on Edit—A notification email is sent each time the related page is edited by any user.
Click Save to confirm the subscription.
Permissions
Wiki page Permissions can be set on user role and group level.
To set page level Read and Edit permissions:
1. Go to Properties, select Permissions.
2. Select or deselect the relevant check boxes to control the Read and Edit permissions for each user role. To apply the permission settings of a parent page to the relevant children pages, select the Set same permissions recursively on all children. check box. Deselect to inactivate the function.
3. Click Save to activate the settings.
Approvals

This applies to Document Approval feature which is not supported anymore and was completely removed in release 8.0.1.
The Document Approval Workflow approvals for the relevant page are listed on tab Approvals.
History
The wiki page content is fully audited and versioned. To see details on the page history, click Properties, select History.
The following details are displayed on the History tab:
Version—Shows the version number of the wiki page. The latest version is shown at the top of the list.
Created—Date and time that the version was created.
Created by—The user, who performed the changes.
Comment—Shows which part of the wiki page was changed.
To see a previous version of the wiki page, click the relevant version number under the Version heading.
To compare the content of, and see the differences between two versions, select the check boxes for the page versions to be compared and click Compare Selected Versions.A new window opens that compares the content of the selected versions.
The new content is highlighted in green , while the removed content is highlighted in red.
To restore the page content to a previous version, select the check box for the relevant version number then select Restore this version from the More menu.
Click Display this version to see the content of the page at that version.
Click Compare to latest version to compare the content of that version to that of the current page.
Baselines
To see the list of related baselines, go to Properties, select Baselines.
Two different baselines can be compared by selecting the related check boxes and clicking Compare Selected Baselines.
