Work Progress
In Codebeamer, work progress is reflected in the work item status.
You can assign a meaning to each status , which tells Codebeamer, to which phase of item processing the status belongs:
Open (pending): Use if none of the other meanings are selected.
Obsolete
In progress
Resolved
Closed
For example, the Status options window for a task tracker.
To learn how work progress Meaning values are applied in tracker configuration, see Creating and Customizing Trackers on how work progress Meaning values are applied in tracker configuration.
There can be multiple statuses in the same phase.
The color associated with a status can indicate the level of attention that a specific work item needs in this status.
The order of status options should reflect the progress of work.
Use State Transitions to perform status changes.
The Cardboard View or Kanban Board, shows the work items organized in columns, where each column represents one of the processing phases above.
For example, Tasks Cardboard:
In these views, work progress is displayed as work items flowing from left to right. For more information, see Scrum and Kanban Board.
