Using Working-Sets
Navigating between Working-Sets
You can navigate between Working-Sets using the combo-box in the header of the Codebeamer user interface.
Selecting a Working-Set opens the same page in the requested Working-Set. The header uses the color configured for the Working-Set to make it easy to distinguish different Working-Sets.
When switching between Working-Sets, a warning message appears:
You can also change Working-Set in an item’s details view if the item being viewed has a corresponding version in the Working-Set to be switched to. In this case, the item shown will also be switched to the version of the target Working-Set.
Baselines
Screens that do include the Working-Set selector show the selected baseline as part of the selected Working-Set.
Access the actions for the baseline, such as leaving the baseline or opening the Baselines and Branches dialog box, by opening the Working-Set selector.
Badges
Trackers which are not branched in the Working-Set but shared with the Default Working-Set, or the parent Working-Set, are marked with the Shared badge.
References pointing to the items that are not part of the current Working-Set are highlighted with a yellow background. Following such references usually takes you to the Working-Set containing the target item.
Most views listing an item, for example a table view, use a badge next to the item’s name indicate the Working-Set that does contain the item.
