Skipping Some Test Parameters and Partly Passed Result
When running tests with parameters, the tester can decide to skip some parameters by clicking Skip next to the parameters inside the Test Runner, as shown in the following image:
When parameters are skipped, this is indicated by the special Partly Passed result for the test runs. This result means that:
• The test was Passed: Successful.
• The test is parameterized and some parameters were skipped by the tester.
The Partly Passed result is handled similarly to the Passed result, however this is indicated on the test run page as follows:
The skipped parameters are marked with a Partial badge to indicate the partial results.
During the test run you can select and re-run previously skipped parameters using the Select button for those parameters, as shown in the following image:
Adding Partly Passed support to legacy Test Run trackers
The Partly Passed result was added in Codebeamer 7.8, however if you have some Test Run tracker where you want to see this result too then do this:
• Go to Tracker customization page of the Test Run tracker. Find the Result field and click on Options.
• Then add the Partly Passed option as shown below:
