Result Table
The result table contains the Tracker Items that match the set filters and are ordered according to the set values. The result table appears:
In the View mode, always, during page loading
In the Edit mode, if you load an existing report during page loading
In the case of new report, after you click GO
In the Edit mode, you can modify the table layout as follows:
Reorder the table columns by a drag-and-drop operation on the table headers (a green line helps you to move the column during dragging). Alternatively, you can select Move left and Move right on the context menu near the column header name.
Remove columns by selecting Remove column on the context menu near the column header name.
Add more columns by dragging fields from the left pane. However, if the table already contains the field, you cannot add it. Add summarize options and set formatting options, if you have added number type fields to tables in a grouped report.
*
If you save the report, Codebeamer also saves the table layout settings, including the columns and column order.
Adding Shared Fields
You can add shared fields to the result table. To add shared fields, select Add Column on the context menu of the table header or drag fields from the left pane.
*
If you select trackers, the result table displays only the shared fields that are used in the selected trackers. After you add a shared field to the result table, the values of the custom fields (which are assigned to a shared field) of a tracker are displayed. If a tracker does not use the shared field that you added, an empty column is displayed. You can edit the values in-place and perform all the actions that you would on a normal field, such as drag, move left or right, and delete. Shared Fields are also stored to the layout if you save the report.
Summarize options
1. Summarize options are available only for grouped reports. Use these options to aggregates the number type field values per group. On the context menu near a number type column (field), select Summarize. An overlay is displayed.
2. Select the type of aggregation functions for the current field: sum, average, min, or max.
3. Click OK. The group headers now contain the aggregated values below the field.
*
You can also set multiple group-by options. If you save and then reload the report, Codebeamer saves the summarize options and reloads their values.
Formatting options
You can only use formatting options for grouped reports. The formatting options display the values of number type fields as you set them.
1. Right-click a number type column and select the formatting options from the context menu. An overlay opens.
2. Select the format type and set the decimal places.
3. Click OK. The format you have set applies to the values of the selected field, and to the aggregated values in the group headers if you have set Summarize options.
When you save the report, Codebeamer also save the formatting options. After you reload the saved report, the values are visible in the format that you set.
