Reviewing and Managing Parameter Configurations
The Test Parameters section shown on the detail page for a test case or test set shows the parameter information. The tab is available for both, test cases and test sets.
This section contains the following :
The number of unique parameters used in the current test case or test set in the Test Parameters section title.
The Used Parameters section lists the parameters that are used in the test case or test set in an alphabetical order. For test sets, this list shows all parameters in all test cases in the test set.
The unique parameter name is shown for each parameter, along with an indicator of whether the parameter has a value . The possible Has value values are as follows:
Whether the parameter has a value or not . Possible values are:
No value—The parameter has no value.
Own—The parameter value is coming from the current test case or test set
Inherited—The parameter value is defined on a parent .
For each parameter, the tests in which the parameter is used are listed, making it easy to find where a parameter is defined.
The Own parameter values and Inherited parameter values sections show the actual values that are either found on the current test case or test set or are inherited from the parents.
