Referencing test steps display with a light-yellow background color and an arrow icon pointing up-and-to-the-right. The link next to the icon shows the test case that is being referenced. Click the link to open a new window and jump to the original test step. Click the pencil icon to open the test step editor.

Test steps that are reused by one or more test cases display with a light-blue background color and an arrow icon pointing down-and-to-the-right. The link under the test step name shows the number of test cases where this step is reused.

Click the link showing the number of reuses to open an overlay window listing these test cases, as shown in the following image:

If the current user does not have permission to view a referring test case (the test case where the original test step resides), that test case does not appear in the list. The following warning appears at the top of the window:
