Links to Codebeamer Resources
The links to the Codebeamer resources can appear in the Word export documents in two different ways. If you select Generate absolute links, all the links will point to the Codebeamer instance where the export was initiated.
If the above checkbox is clear, then the links that point to the items present in the currently exported document will become internal links pointing to bookmarks inside the document. This feature helps in offline work when Codebeamer instance is not accessible.
Internal links are used only for items selected for export; links to item references still use absolute links to Codebeamer. A bookmark is inserted where the <<item. name>>merge field is present. In case a link found onto that item, then it is replaced to point to this bookmark instead.
