Issue Details Children and Associations
Issue hierarchies can be as deep as desired, using the child definitions in trackers. In issue lists, you can see the children of an issue in the Summary column. The folder icon represents the set of children in one tracker, and a child-issue number and summary are visible next to the folder, in the parent issue's Summary column.
Open the Children tab of the current (parent) issue by clicking the directory icon, or open the child issue by clicking its link. Similarly, you can open the associated issue or issues using the chain-link icon.
Anyone with edit permission on the tracker can change the children and associations details of an issue.
There can be different edit or view permissions tables for each status. The status is selected at the top of the table under the Field Access tab.
When you copy or move issues (using cut, copy and paste, and copy or move to), the descendants (children) of the issues are also recursively copied or moved.
You can move issues between trackers and also copy or move them within the issue's hierarchy. You can copy or move descendants of an issue to another tracker or to another issue within the same tracker. In the source issue list, perform the following steps:
Select the source issue's checkbox.
Select Extra actions.
Select Copy, to copy the issue to the clipboard.
Select Copy to copy the issue to another tracker.
In the details of the target parent issue, select the Children tab.
Under Extra actions select Paste.
