In-place Edit of Work Items
You can edit the field values of the items in Table View if you have the required permission. To edit a field value, double-click the value and edit the value in the In-place editor. The In-place editor is supported for the following field types:
• Text fields
• Number fields (Integer, Decimal)
• Duration fields
• Date fields
• Choice fields (including member and reference fields)
• Boolean fields
• Color fields
• Wikitext fields
Table fields and the fields which are always read-only such as , Submitted at, Assigned at, Modified at, Modified by,and so on are not supported. You cannot change the value of the Status field . However, you can use the transition action menu for status change.
If you edit a wikitext field using the in-place editor, the toolbar of appears below the Filter Widget on the top. You can use
