Generating Sprint Schedule and Next Sprint
Generating the sprint schedule generates all the sprints that fit in a release. To generate sprints, the release start and end date, as well as the length of the sprints, must be provided using the Planned Start Date,Actual Release Date , and Sprint Length fields.

If theSprint Length field is missing from your tracker, a project administrator can create it.

Once you have generated a release with these three fields, the Create Spring Schedule and Generate Next Spring menu options are available.
These menu items do similar things:
• The Create Sprint Schedule is based on your field settings and computes how many sprints fit in the release and generates them. Their name is inherited from the release name.
• The Generate Next Sprint generates a new sprint starting when the current last one ends. The length of the generated sprint comes from the Sprint Length field of the release. If the release is still empty this item will generate the first sprint.
