Formatting Fields
During export, the formatting determined on merging fields is automatically applied to the replacement information. The font, size, color, alignment, and styles are all received by the displayed content in the field. Wiki fields have their own formatting inside Codebeamer and that formatting cannot be overwritten by Word template. Content of wiki fields should be similar to online, regardless of formatting of merge field in the template.
Wiki fields are rendered as html, then inserted into the Word document. Currently, the supported ways to use wiki/html mergefields in templates are:
Formatting date fields using field codes:
• Insert them into a separate line, which should not contain anything else.
• Insert them into a Word table, which would solve the indentation problems.
