In the New Report dialog box, under the project selector, click Current Project to preselect the current project.

You do not need to define the project of the report. If you subsequently use the report in a project context, the current project is preselected. This is useful if you have reports which are data sources of dashboard widgets (for example, Table widget or any kind of Chart widgets), and you want to use them on the dashboard pages of multiple projects. In such cases, you need not create a reports for each project; just create one report and use Current Project.

In the New Report dialog box, if you click Current Project and then click GO, a project selector overlay opens. Select a project. A preview result is visible, which enables you to check the result before you use the report in a project context.
