Creating Test Runs directly from Test Cases (without Test Sets)
You can also run a single test case or a selection of test cases without putting them into a test set. This can be done in the following ways:
• In the Document View and Document Edit view of the test cases, right-click test cases from the test cases tracker tree, and select Generate Test Run(s) from Selected. Select the test run tracker from the sub-menu.
• In the Document View and Document Edit view of the test cases, select an item in the middle panel and click the + sign. Choose Generate Test Run and the target Test Run tracker.
• In the Table View of test cases, select test cases, and click 
New Test Run in the tracker toolbar.

Test Run in the tracker toolbar.For all of these methods, a new test run is created which contains and runs the selected test cases. You can also optionally add the child test cases recursively during this process.
