Coverage Statistics
The Test Coverage Statistics section shows the aggregated coverage statistics. This information is computed based on the filter settings, so it matches with the coverage tree. The statistics are grouped by trackers.
Exporting Test Coverage
The coverage statistics can be exported to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. The exported document contains the same information as the tree and the statistics table, including the filter settings. To export the coverage, click Export to Office in the Test Run Browser toolbar.
Once you click Export to Office, the Exporting Test Run Browser window opens. To export the coverage statistics in excel format, click Excel Export. A notification with a export ID is displayed on the screen after this process starts. Once the excel export operation is complete, a message with successful or failed export information along with the export ID appears on the screen. On a successful export, the message contains a hyperlink. You can click the hyperlink to download the exported file.
You will also receive an email notification with the export ID once the export operation begins and ends. On a successful export, you will receive an email that contains a hyperlink to download the exported file. For a failed export operation, the reason for the failure is mentioned in the email.
Coverage Browser Presets
Users can save their coverage browser settings as presets. To save a new preset, complete the following steps:
1. Configure the coverage browser filters.
2. Click Save new Preset in the coverage browser toolbar. The View Properties dialog box opens.
3. Add a name for the preset.
4. Optionally, add a description and select the roles that have permission to this preset. If no roles are selected, the preset is set to private by default.
5. Click Save.
Once a preset is saved, it can be used by selecting it from the list of presets in the Load/Manage Coverage Browser Presets dialog. Click Load/Manage Presets in the coverage browser toolbar to access the dialog. Saved presets can also be edited from this dialog.
Clicking Save current Preset overwrites the last saved preset.
Non-private presets are included in project exports.
