To color items, set up a Color type field for the tracker. You can specify a custom color for any tracker item; the items' handles will reflect your setting.

The Relations feature will apply the following color resolution rule: If the item has no color set, its parent user story color will override this empty value. If it's still empty but the item has a parent requirement, that color will be inherited.
