Additional Filters
Date Fields
After you can select date conditions, a control box opens. You can set the following date ranges:
Range—For example, Today, Today and Yesterday, This week, and so on. Possible values are grouped in the list by day, week, month, quarter, or year.
Specific Dates—You must select two dates using the date picker. You can leave the from or the to values empty.
Relative Ranges—You can set relative custom date ranges, by setting the from and to dates using the selectors, that are, number of days, workdays, weeks, months, quarters, or years before or after today. Select the checkboxes before the from or to labels to skip any of these values.
Number Fields
You can filter by number type fields of tracker items. You must set the operator (greater than >, greater than or equals to >=, equals =, less than or equals to <=, less than <) and the integer number.
Item ID Filtering
You can filter by Item ID. Select Item ID from the default fields, and you can enter a comma-separated list of Item IDs.
Duration Fields
You can filter by the duration type of tracker items. Set the operator (greater than >, greater than or equals to >=, equals =, less than or equals to <=, less than <), the integer number, and the duration (hour, minute, second).
Text Fields
You can filter by text field of the tracker items. You can use SQL wildcards and negation. For example, to see tracker items for which the summary does not contain test, enter %test% and select the NOT checkbox.
Boolean Fields
*
Boolean fields are supported Codebeamer 9.2 onward
You can filter by any custom boolean fields.
Color Fields
*
Color fields are supported Codebeamer 9.2 onward.
If you select a color field, you can select a color using the color picker and filter the result by color.
Reference Fields
You can filter tracker items by references. Click a selected reference field to open an overlay, and then set the referring tracker items. Select one or more projects and trackers. You can use the auto-complete feature or the icon to select tracker items. The projects and trackers are filled out based on the selected trackers and the set field reference. For example, if you select the bugs tracker in the tracker selector and you drag release reference field, the trackers are preselected according to the bugs tracker release field reference setting. Only the valid items are displayed, and there will be an OR connection between the selected items.
Optionally you can filter by suspected or not-suspected references using the following:
Do not filter
Suspected References
Not Suspected References
If you leave the work item empty, and select the Suspected or Noy suspected filter, you can filter at the field level. For example, if you select suspected references and leave the work item empty, the work items for which the release field contains at least one suspected reference are matches.
You can filter by the name of reference items using the asterix symbol or wildcards.
*
You cannot use this filter for parent and children fields or for reference type shared fields.
Codebeamer performs the search for the text that you enter for Filter by Summary of Reference Items. You can use the same operators (like, greater than, and so on) as those for filtering a text field.
The following example illustrates a search for backlog items, in which the name of the reference item contains voice.
Tag Filters
You can filter work items using tag filters. Codebeamer supports the following types of tags:
Project tag
Tracker tag
Work item tag
Release or sprint tag
When you select a tag filter from the filter list, a box is displayed in which you can enter the name of the tag to filter work items. As you enter the name, the auto-complete feature displays the list of matching tags to select from.
